Public site launch delayed by request; slated for November launch

As you are aware, we are in the midst of an ongoing, campus-wide redesign project to create a web presence that best serves the needs of our diverse audiences. We also are in the midst of the LCME reaccreditation process. We will be submitting many documents to the LCME reviewers (including URLs to find content on our website) in July. During this vital review process, we want to be sure that required information is available at the links we reported. Therefore, at the request of those leading the reaccreditation efforts, we have postponed the launch of the new public and private website until after the LCME site visit on October 22-24, 2012.  More specific information about this change (including a revised launch timeline) will be forthcoming from the Office of Marketing & Communications.

We know that your departments have been steadily working to rewrite and migrate content to the new site and appreciate all the work you have already accomplished. We ask that you continue to migrate content with the goal of having all content in place by mid-October. This will provide plenty of time to test the site internally before we “go live.”

We appreciate your participation as well as your ongoing patience with the new website efforts. If you have any questions, please direct them to or call 446.7070.
