Web content training now underway

Web content training for content owners and contributors began last week and continues through June. We are offering four different types of training, available at a variety of dates and times:

  • Writing for the Web: This class addresses basics and best practices for writing web content.
  • Formatting Content for the EVMS Web Templates: This class covers the new site structure/requirements and addresses ways existing content can be modified or updated to fit the new page designs.
  • Using Site Manager (the CMS): ┬áMarComm staff will provide hands-on instruction on using the new CMS. Attendees will receive their new login information during this class.
  • Content Migration Workshop: ┬áThis is a lab setting, where MarComm staff is available to assist content editors in migrating their content. Attendees should come prepared with their new content, ready to migrate.

Please be sure to have your departmental representatives select training times online and register as soon as possible at http://blogs.evms.edu/calendar.html.

We thank you for your participation in this process. If you have questions or comments, please contact Kim Lewandowski or Natalie Semmler or call 757.446.7070.
