Recent activities on the EVMS website redesign project

Following are activities from the past week on the website redesign project:

  • On Sept. 1, the Website Working Group met to discuss iFactory’s proposal for organization of the new website
  • On Sept. 2, we submitted our consolidated feedback to iFactory for revisions to the proposed re-organization
  • We have signed a statement of work with iFactory for information architecture and template development for the intranet/portal part of the project
  • We began to work on a content inventory of the intranet

On Sept. 15, the Working Group will meet to review the second round of the site map development.

We also provided iFactory with a selection of photos so they can begin the art direction phase of the project. The iFactory team will use the EVMS branding standards as a base for developing comprehensive Art Direction consisting of imagery, color schemes, typography and layout. The goal of this phase is to ensure that all pages follow a consistent and logical visual design.

iFactory will deliver a set of compositions so the EVMS Working Group can get a sense of how the visual elements will come together, and will revise this deliverable based on our input over two rounds.

If you have questions or comments about the project, please leave a comment here on the blog or email Kim Lewandowski.
