What a week – wrap-up of marathon website meetings

We would like thank once again the 90 or so faculty, staff, students and post-graduate trainees who met with the iFactory team this week, and to everyone who took the time to complete the survey. With 19 focus groups and interviews over three and a half days, it seemed at times as if we were talking to everyone on campus. But there are a few areas where the iFactory team wants to follow up to ensure that the website meets our needs as closely as possible.

We are continuing with the discovery process by completing the Project Profile and sending the results of the website survey to iFactory. Then Pete Gaiano, iFactory’s lead strategist, will use these and other materials, such as EVMS videos and marketing collateral, to prepare the Findings and Recommendations report. The report acts as the underlying foundation for the site architecture, design and development.

We would also like to thank Pete and Project Manager Dave Wohlgemuth for spending three and a half long days on campus learning about EVMS. They also attended Match Day and were very impressed with the students’ creativity and enthusiasm. There’s nothing like Match Day at EVMS.

And congratulations to iFactory – they won the European Information Association Awards 2011 (PDF) for developing the online Manual of European Environmental Policy. Nice work.
